We are looking for an exceptional UI Test engineer to join our growing engineering organization. The candidate should be proficient in both manual and automated testing of Web applications. They should also be able to test the performance of the application.
Role: UI Test engineer
Total Experience: 2 to 4 years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Technical Skills: Python/ Node.js, Cypress, Rest API Automation
Education Background: B.E./ B.Tech (CS/IT/E&TC)
Responsibilities:
• Writing automated E2E tests for the web application.
• Writing automated tests for REST API’s being called by the application.
• Manually testing the application also.
• Working with geographically distributed engineering teams to understand the features and develop both positive and negative test cases.
• Be an end user and surface user experience issues found during testing.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in computer science or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience testing enterprise web applications.
• Expert in using automation tools like Cypress (preferred).
• Exposure to GIT/Docker.
• Good working knowledge in using unit testing libraries like React Testing Library etc.
• Proven experience with REST API-driven automation using Python or JavaScript.
• Ability to surface user experience deficiencies in the product and not shy to point it out.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Adaptability and a keen interest in staying current with modern technologies and evolving industry trends.
• Understanding of GitHub and experience with CI/CD pipelines, including the setup and management of automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Prior experience in testing security products is a plus.
