Role: Senior BIM QA Engineer
Location: Pune, Magarpatta City
Shift Timings: 3 PM to 12 AM
Work Model: Hybrid (Once a week Work From Office in regular shift)
As a Senior BIM QA Engineer, you'll be part of our software quality team, You'll get to work on :
- Contribute as a key member of the BIM application QA team, delivering deep, reliable test coverage across complex, multi-version Revit workflows.
- Execute end-to-end manual and exploratory testing across core feature areas including hanger placement, spool creation, and BIM to FAB data transfers.
- Design and execute structured test cases with precise preconditions, scoped steps, and data integrity verification ensuring consistent, reproducible coverage across Revit versions.
- Support risk-based release triage by evaluating PR scope and contributing to test depth decisions that protect release quality under real delivery constraints.
- Help maintain and audit the test catalog, proactively identifying stale or gap coverage after each sprint and raising updates with QA team.
- Investigate runtime errors and defect reports, mapping failures to root-cause patterns and authoring targeted test cases to prevent recurrence.
- File structured, evidence-backed defects in Jira with full reproduction steps, environment details, and impact assessment.
- Partner with developers, QA lead, and product managers to anticipate quality risk across cloud API integration, session state behavior, and multi-version Revit compatibility.
- Apply hands-on BIM domain knowledge to evaluate software behavior against real world MEP and fabrication workflows.

- 5+ years of hands-on software QA experience in a complex, enterprise or desktop application environment.
- Proven, practical experience working in Autodesk Revit. You understand MEP or fabrication workflows from a user's perspective.
- Strong background in structured manual and exploratory testing, with demonstrated ability to author precise, executable test cases without ambiguity.
- Prior automation experience using TestComplete or a comparable desktop/UI test automation framework is a plus.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar ALM tools for defect management, test tracking, and sprint collaboration.
- Ability to support risk-based triage across concurrent feature changes, balancing coverage depth with delivery timelines
- Strong analytical instincts you dig into logs, reproduce edge cases, trace failures to their source, and don't stop investigating until you understand the why.
