Job Summary:
As the Generative AI Applications Development Lead, you will be responsible for driving the development of innovative AI applications that leverage Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, GANs, VAEs) for a variety of business use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development of AI/ML models and algorithms using Python and associated frameworks.
- Design and implement robust, scalable and efficient AI pipelines for production environments.
Guide the team in leveraging AI Model Development and Fine-Tuning to oversee the development, fine-tuning and optimization of generative AI models (e.g., GPT-3, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, etc.) for specific business requirements and use cases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI use cases and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, optimize AI/ML pipelines and ensure best practices in model development and deployment.
- Stay updated with advancements in AI technologies and Python frameworks, introducing innovations to enhance the team's productivity and the organization's capabilities.
- Ensure data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data integrity for training and deploying machine learning models.
- Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Deploy, monitor and maintain AI models using MLOps principles on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Promote ethical AI practices, focusing on fairness, explainability and bias mitigation in deployed models.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related field.
- Minimum of 2-7 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML application development.
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role, overseeing AI projects and teams is preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying Generative AI applications (e.g., GPT, GANs, Transformers, etc.) in a production environment.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of Generative AI models such as GPT, GANs, VAEs, and other advanced NLP, CV, or multimodal architectures.
- Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar AI frameworks.
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning models using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with model optimization, scaling, and deploying AI models at scale.
- Solid understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD practices, DevOps, and automation for AI systems.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to innovate, think strategically, and identify business-driven AI opportunities.
