Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Engineer with strong Java coding expertise to design, execute, and enhance performance tests for scalable applications. The role involves hands-on performance testing, automation, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test solutions using Java.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code for performance testing and analysis.
- Perform load, stress, spike, and endurance testing for APIs and applications.
- Work with performance testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter, k6, or similar.
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure performance benchmarks.
- Prepare and present performance reports to technical and business stakeholders.
- Support continuous performance testing and optimisation initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in performance testing/performance automation.
- Strong Java coding skills.
- Hands-on experience with Gatling, JMeter, k6, or similar performance tools.
- Solid understanding of performance testing concepts and metrics.
- Experience testing APIs and web-based applications.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder interaction ability.
