Senior/ Lead SDET with Cypress or Playwright

Total Experience: 8-12 years 
Location: Pune, Hadapsar, Magarpatta City  

Mandatory Skills: Hands on experience on Cypress or Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript

About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Senior/ Lead SDET with strong expertise in both automation and functional testing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, hands-on experience in Cypress or Playwright, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform end-to-end functional and automation testing across electron based applications.  
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks. 
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business teams to understand requirements. 
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports. 
• Ensure high-quality releases through regression testing, integration testing, and performance validation. 
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 8-12 years of strong experience in SDET (both automation + functional). 
• 2+ years of experience with Cypress or Playwright (mandatory). 
• Strong programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience developing automation frameworks and scripts from scratch. 
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). 
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication skills.
